We can do this by providing a presale overview for your herd, so people can find out more; about where they run together with pictures of your breeding mares and stallions. We would also share any information we have, or can obtain, from people who have had your ponies in the past explaining just how wonderful these ponies are. This will enhance any advertising and help attract more buyers.

If you wish to enter ponies from your herd, please email charlotte@dartmoorhillpony.com and write pony herd sale in the subject and a contact name and number in the email and we will get back to you, to make a plan as to how we can help.

We want to get ahead of the game and be able build interest as soon as possible and with this in mind our social media and PR team is standing by.

Ponies entered in the Chagford sale, will be required to be microchipped in advance of the sale and each pony will be required to have a completed passport application form and completed silhouette form signed by vet, to be given to the buyer of the pony to apply for the ponies passport at a cost of £40 (approximately depending on issuing office).

Ponies entering this sale must come from pony keepers who are members Dartmoor Hill Pony Association and whose herds that are registered with the Dartmoor Hill Pony Association. The person who buys the pony will pay £40 for the passport and microchip on behalf of the new owner.
